PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This event initially began for the softball and baseball programs as a kick off for their seasons.  Since that time,
the council now offers other spring programs, boys and girls LAX in addition to spring soccer.

Over the past two or so years however, more than just the spring sports programs have walked in the parade.
This event is now open to programs that end around this time of year, i.e, competition cheerleading.  Also, the
volunteers for both Edgestock and the Dungeons walk in the parade as sort of an advertisement.

The parade is held on the last Saturday in April and is generally followed up with some type of event for the kids
(since there aren't any opening day games), such as the pitch, hit and run contest for the kids (this contest
does not only apply to softball and baseball, any child can enter). Also, there is a flea market in the
gym/cafeteria.
