Girls Outdoor Lacrosse (Lady Vipers)

AGES:  Girls, ages 5-14
BREAKDOWN:  5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14
REGISTRATION:  November - January
COSTS:  Registration costs cover uniforms, league fees, referee fees,
and post-season parties.
SEASON:  Early March - Early June
PRACTICES START:  Early March (ages 7-up), Early April (ages 5 & 6)
GAMES START:  Early April (ages 7-up), No games (ages 5 & 6)

PRACTICES & GAMES
PRACTICES:  Once a week (ages 5/6), 2 to 3 times a week (ages 7-up) - typically start at 6:00pm
PRACTICE LOCATIONS:  Sparrows Point High School
GAMES:  Each team (ages 7-up) will play a 10 game season (5 home / 5 away).  Games are once a week
starting in early April (Saturdays & Sundays) until Day-light savings time.  At this point, an additional game will
be played during the week as well.
GAME LOCATIONS:  Sparrows Point High School (home games), Chesterwood Park (some home games),
Away games are played around the beltway (I-695) in areas such as Parkville, Pikesville, Towson & Hereford.
EQUIPMENT
ESP PROVIDES:  Jerseys (player keeps) & kilts (ESP keeps)
PLAYER PROVIDES:  Certified lacrosse goggles, stick, mouthpieces (x3), shoes, gloves (optional), shorts
(under kilts), warm underclothing for cold weather (optional).
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The ESP Lady Viper lacrosse program was founded in 1996 with one team of 15 players.  Today, the program
supports over 100 players (of
all skill levels) ranging from ages 4-14.  Over the past decade, our program has
developed dozens of former Lady Vipers who, not only have helped their local high school teams to
Championships, but who are participating at the collegiate level as well.  Much like its sibling progam, the Viper
Lacrosse Program (boys), the Lady Vipers offer great experiences on and off the field.  Here are some of the
events & activities we offer our girls throughout the season:

February 20 - Uniform Fitting (with the boys program)
February 26 - "Meet the Coach" Night (with the boys program)
March 1 - Practice begins (ages 7-up)
March - Fundraiser Event
April - Practice begins (ages 5/6)
April - Lottery Raffle
May - Field Trip - Division 1 NCAA Women's lacrosse game
May - Parents Appreciation Day (with the boys program)
June - Post-Season Tournaments
June - End-of-Season Lacrosse Party (with the boys program)
July - 4th of July Parade (with the boys program)
Oct - Haunted Dungeons
