PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Opening Day Parade originally began as a ‘kick-off’ of the upcoming Softball and
Baseball seasons. Our recreation council now offers other spring programs such as Girls
Lacrosse, Boys Lacrosse and Spring Soccer, all of which walk in the parade. Over the past
few years, the Haunted Dungeons and Edgestock volunteers walk in the parade in order to
advertise these events.
At the completion of the parade, Opening Day Ceremonies are held.
